Individual giving and philanthropy
In addition to corporate and college sponsorship, the NCS Foundation welcomes donations from individual donors and philanthropic organizations.
If you are keen to support the next generation of cybersecurity practitioners, and help close the skills gap in the industry, we would love to hear from you!
Champion the next generation of cybersecurity leaders
The Foundation welcomes and gratefully receives donations of any size, from a small contribution to the general scholarship fund (every little helps!), to a recurring sponsorship of numerous full college scholarships. One-off donations, regular contributions via direct debit, or legacy giving arrangements are all equally viable methods of offering financial support to the future of cybersecurity talent.
Any donations can be added to the general National Cyber Scholarship fund, or can target specific demographics by geography, underrepresented group, or other public need.
Contributing to the work of the NCS Foundation will enable the US to continue supporting and developing the necessary talent protect our country’s infrastructure in these ever- changing times.
“Prior to CyberStart and this scholarship, I had no understanding of cybersecurity or awareness of it as a viable job option. Starting the competition was completely foreign to me with its sections regarding digital forensics, python coding to crack codes, linux terminal exploits, and so on, but because of this exposure and wide variety of applications, I realized how cybersecurity permeates every aspect of life such that there is an increasing degree of importance that will be placed on it in the upcoming future with the movement towards a technology-powered society. Thus, this scholarship helped empower me into believing that I, too, can be a part of this movement, and secure systems in a way that can impact millions of lives.”
